Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

We use the most advanced laundry, detergent, and dry-cleaning techniques so your garments look better and last even longer.

How do I prepare my laundry?
You do not need to sort your laundry. We handle all preparation before the wash including sorting, checking pockets, and checking for stains. All you need to do is place your clothes in a bag, we’ll handle the rest.
Why are there barcodes on my items?
The use of barcodes is an industry-standard that helps us keep track of your belongings through our production system. To ensure that your items never go missing, we must utilize barcodes on all dry cleaned or laundered and pressed pieces each time they are processed.
What is dry cleaning?
Dry cleaning is the process of cleaning without the use of water. Instead, a liquid solvent is used to gently clean your garments.

All dry cleaning orders submitted to us go through our multi-point inspection that starts with advanced spot treating and stain removal. We replace cracked buttons and tighten loose threads for free. Our dry cleaning process uses the most advanced dry-cleaning techniques, which produce garments that look better and last even longer.
What happens if my items are damaged or lost?
Having your items be damaged or lost is something that we never want our customers to experience. However, situations like this can be an unfortunate part of working in the dry cleaning industry. Please know that we are always prepared and dedicated to making things right with our customers if an occurrence of damage or loss occurs. We promise always to be responsive, empathetic, and, most importantly, transparent in situations like this.

Are button-down shirts dry cleaned?
Not usually. There is a common misconception about how dry cleaners like ourselves care for button-down shirts. The industry-standard method for these types of shirts is to wash the items on a laundered cycle followed by a steam-based drying and pressing process. Proper laundering will give you cleaner, longer-lasting shirts and provide the best pressing results at half the price - over 80% of the shirts we handle are treated as laundered & press and returned on hangers.

Services include:
  • Contactless pickup & delivery

    • Do you offer Alterations
Unfortunately, we no longer offer alteration services. We can refer you to a local seamstress who will be able to assist you with hemming, hole repairs, zipper repair, along with other garment adjustments.
    Do you offer same-day service?

Yes, at our Lampasas store. Drop off by 8:00 AM and your order is ready by 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Same-day service is not offered at our other locations.

    Do you clean household items?
Yes! Our professional equipment has the power to remove the toughest stains and the soft touch to handle items like comforters, curtains, delicate tablecloths and decorative pillows. Where regular washing can cause these items to shrink or fall apart, our machines will preserve the color and comfort of your favorite items.
Do I have to be home when you pick up my clothes?
No. As long as you give us clear instructions of where and when to pick the items up, we can figure things out. Our goal is to make life simple for you.
How do I know which of my garments can be dry cleaned?
Our dry cleaning professionals clean each garment according to its individual Care Label.
Should I attempt stain removal at home?
Home remedies can place your garment at risk for effective stain removal and for fabric damage. So bring them to us! Our knowledgeable cleaners will remove the stain while keeping the type of material, colorfastness and the cause of the stain in mind in order to gently yet effectively remove the imperfection.
    Do you preserve wedding gowns?
Our wedding gown preservation specialists carefully examine your gown to determine the most suitable method of cleaning. Throughout the process your gown will be inspected again and again. While usual wedding dress cleaning cannot protect or guarantee against oxidation or "yellowing," our advanced preservation system guarantees that your gown will stay as perfect as the day you wore it down the aisle. Your dress will be carefully sealed in an acid-free inner box that controls humidity. Our sealed packaging allows you to view your gown and veil at any time, while protecting the gown from mold, mildew, insect damage and oxidation. The inner box is placed in an attractive, durable, long-term storage chest for additional safety.
How do your prices compare to the other Dry Cleaners in our area?
Our prices are competitive in the Central Texas market. Our consistent focus is to provide our guests with excellent guest service as well as exceptional quality cleaning.
Does dry cleaning shorten the life of a garment?
When a garment is cleaned in water, the yarns swell causing the clothing to receive more agitation in the washing process. In dry cleaning this dynamic does not occur, therefore prolonging the life of your garment.
What causes a ‘puckering’ and excess fabric in shirt collars and cuffs?
Occasionally, manufactures do not select an interfacing that is compatible with the fabric on the shirt. Therefore, shrinkage occurs causing a ‘puckering’ effect.
How do I communicate special instructions for my garments?
Special instructions can be communicated by attaching a note to specific garment.
    What happens if it rains?
Weather is unpredictable however; your Delivery Concierge will never intentionally leave any garments in the rain.
